It's sweet to listen to music in peace
and forget about the outside world.
People often preach that each person
is the master of their own fortune.
Does the African mother
who keeps a hungry child on her lap
believe in this?

silmät vässyyt väsymistä,

Meeli alkaa muissois harpata.
Rakkahus kukat valeloo,
pöllyt pyyhkii patrettiloist.
Syän ystävät toivoo
unneen iänikkäisee.
